Schutzmannschaft SHORT POLICE SWORD with portepee used by the police since WW1 thru 1938 when new police edged weapons were introduced. Used by Schytzpolizei in different states of Germany. This one comes with Bavarian portepee. All matching number "1" (blade spine, all fittings). Very rare example of beautiful German edged weapon. Sword comes with its original leather dress frog.
