Wladyslaw Czachórski studied painting at Raphael Hadziewicz's Warsaw Drawing Class, studied at the Munich Academy, and painted portraits, still lifes and scenes inspired by the works of Shakespeare. He was respected and admired as a painter of portraits of women against rich interiors. After 1880, he settled in Munich as an honorary professor at the Academy of Fine Arts.
